    Joe has served as Executive Director of the Papillion Community Foundation and President of the Papillion Downtown Business Association, and is a Board Member of the PLV READS Foundation. Through this work, he has partnered with residents, small businesses, and local organizations to support growth and strengthen the community.

MEET JOE

Joe Hunter has dedicated his career to serving others. As Executive Director of Moving Veterans Forward, he works every day to help veterans and their families overcome barriers and access critical resources. His experience building partnerships, managing budgets, and leading organizations has prepared him to tackle the challenges facing a growing city.

As a member of the Papillion Planning Commission, Joe has seen firsthand how growth impacts infrastructure, public safety, housing, and quality of life. He understands both the opportunities and responsibilities that come with being one of Nebraska's fastest-growing communities.

Joe believes local government works best when residents have a seat at the table. That's why he has spent this campaign meeting people where they are—at coffee shops, community events, neighborhood gatherings, and local businesses—listening to concerns and discussing ideas for Papillion's future.

EVENTS

Spending time in the community and listening to what our neighbors care about is one of the most meaningful parts of this campaign. Papillion has always been a community focused city, and it is important to continue hearing ideas on how we preserve our small town feel while thoughtfully planning for the future.
